Dena Howard has been a geriatric care manager for over ten years and was the first to open an office in Northeast Florida. She was a family caregiver for many years as she pursued her career as a labor relations attorney.
Ms. Howard is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, the Florida Geriatric Care Managers Association, the Florida Health Care Social Workers Association, and the National Association of Social Workers.
Dena is an Instructor for the 8 hour family guardian class and the 40 hour Professional Guardian certification course for the 4th Circuit Courts. She is also a Certified Trainer for the Medicare Rights Center.
Ms. Howard has also been a speaker for many civic and professional organizations, such as AARP, St. Vincent's VOICE Conference and 55 Plus, Area Agency on Aging Conference, Planning Ahead for Your Seniors Years Conference, and many churches. Dena is also a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church.
Dena's professionalism and experiences drive her passion for assisting Florida seniors and elderly individuals in the Jacksonville, Florida area.
Debra Leonard has 20 plus years experience in medical billing and coding with physician office. Her expertise lies in problem solving and working through issues between insurance companies and providers. Her focus is on ensuring that her clients are not paying more than necessary due to improper billing or incorrect information. Providers also benefit by having someone who understands what they need in order to properly bill the insurance for the patient. |
